Underoath – They're Only Chasing Safety | Indie Exclusive Vinyl Reissue

Underoath’s They're Only Chasing Safety pairs the intensity of post-hardcore with soaring melodic hooks, shifting between urgent screams, clean vocals, and driving guitars. The contrast gives the record its pull: explosive passages open into choruses built for singing along, while quieter moments make the next surge hit harder.

“A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White” and “Reinventing Your Exit” capture that balance of abrasion and melody, while “It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door” brings the album’s dramatic sweep into focus. From the opening rush of “Young and Aspiring” to the reflective closer “Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape,” the ten-track sequence rewards a full listen.
